Zero for men. Wonen use STD
if your company offers it and the plan covers pregnancy. Lost 2600,ml of blood had postpartum hypertension and infection. Did not qualify.
it is six weeks. You can always take FLMA if company has it or unpaid leave or use sick days. Materinity leave guaranteed is mainly a perk or new employees only. My prior company sick days did not expire so women with company a long time had 50-150 days in the bank. It was a good retention tool. Often women who planned on having a kid would not leave. They give back all those sick days.
Yes I am aware how sick days work and how FMLA works Mansplainer-in-Chief possibly J1 J2 J3 guy. I was referencing the STD which is separate from FMLA and not all policies cover pregnancy and/or pregnancy-related complications. If I got in a car wreck and lost 2600ml of blood it would be covered. If I had Crohns and got an infection from abscess it would be covered. But a severe hemorrhage and infection as a result of pregnancy/delivery are not covered.
