Most will say they are employees of a larger group. They even buy up vet clinics and say nothing about the clinic changing hands. A despicable practice if you ask me. At one clinic I had been going to for 8 years I only knew because the address on the dogs rx label changed to an office in Boston where the company was headquartered and not the local clinic.
