Are you kidding me? You think an AI layer over school camera systems that has face-detection technology and trips up all kind of privacy concerns is comparable to the school system purchasing photocopiers and pencils?

If you're a parent, file a Complaint from the Public (CFP).  [b]Why should the school consult YOU for what they purchase?  Even if you're an AI expert, so what?  It's the school's decision, not yours.[/b]

NEWSFLASH: Public schools use public dollars.

Therefore, as a county resident and taxpayer, MY money gets used in these decisions. My representative in approving those purchases and contracts are the members of the Board of Education.
