No one wants to officially postpone or cancel things unless or until they’re sure it is needed. And if you’re in a position where you’re a point of contact about the scheduling of things, tired of all the messages you get from people who want to know what’s going on when you are not getting info any sooner than they are and aren’t in a position to make any decisions.
