Just remember we had a light snow storm on Spring day a few years ago. Our weather seems to be under the effects of high sugar.

I hope it doesn't snow at all. High school spring sports tryouts begin Monday. Baseball fields are beat up enough.

National Weather Service highlighting "potential" for heavy snow Sunday-Monday (Sunday night main period of interest). Afternoon models did gently go in a snowier direction. We need to see if it was a blip or a trend. We'll post an update on tonight's (Thursday) models around 1130-11:45p.

That's out of date already. Chances of accumulating snow are now higher, but we won't know for sure until it's practically upon us.

I think people are tired of the last minute schedule changes that come with snow. No one wants to officially postpone or cancel things unless or until they’re sure it is needed. Chances are increasing. The GFS american model has shown a big storm for a while now but it's been innacurate so people have been discounting it. However the 1800 run of the more accurate Euro model shifted way west, more in line with the GFS model than before. Seem to be waiting for the midnight Euro to see if the trend holds.

First, I don't know why you're referring to PP's spouse.

Second, if you're so stupid that you're looking at weather apps, that all work off crappy algorithms, when this is a forecast that's difficult to interpret for even the most seasoned meteorologist... you don't deserve to have a seat at the table. You KNOW that 4 days out, no reliable forecasting can give you a specific amount of snow. For this specific system, no one can give you a range. It's a difficult forecast.

That’s not a forecast. That’s an app doing a model dump. You have to follow an actual meteorologist like CWG or NBC and see what they say, and right now they are saying they don’t know yet.
