[/quote] Not only are you wrong about them not offering it to other high schools (as per this thread), but you are wrong about the whole point of opt-in. The school is opt-in because as a start up it is unable to offer the full slate of activities that many people want in high school, like sports and clubs that take a year or two to get off the ground. They made it opt in so as not to force kids to attend next year and miss out on those things. It has nothing to do with gauging interest. That is a fallacy pushed by people who are hoping to use the opt-in numbers to further their interests in where the boundary will be drawn.[/quote]
