By time you reach end over 99 percent of applicants are gone. My brother joked only an unemployed person has time to complete process.

That job I got and I applied Mid Nov and got offer early March. Almost 4 months. I was not a back up candidate. In end I was only one who got till end of process. I spend around 200 hours begining to end on interview process.

Sounds a lot but over four months and I had a lot of other jobs in mix. And I had a consulting gig.

I found out after hiring they get 1,000 to 2,000 applicants per job and they use this to weed out the applicants.

But if I was working full time would have gave up. So if husband has time this is good news. [/quote]

bar raiser is to prove you are more qualified then person you are replacing and everyone in department. Team fit is the team interviews you to see if a fit to the culture.

My job was Get it done type job, think deeper, never settle, type A hard charging who at same time is fun and cool and easy to get along with but when stuff needs to be done the type that can work like a dog and pump it out quick and right. 10x worker types you know who can do the work of 10 medicore average folks by being quick, smart and automating things.

Was not an age thing. More an energy thing which I have in spades. And bar raiser well I raise the bar was great. But took a lot of digging to see who all the ex employees  and current employees in area were on LinkedIN, what they do, and show what skills I have better than them. Was time consuming.
