I actually enjoy 50/50 parenting.  I was completely burnt out and exhausted during my marriage and now I actually get a break and time for myself.

It's lonely sometimes, but I am reconnecting with friends and finding time for new and rekindled hobbies.  I love owning and controlling my own house.  There is no resentment over division of household labor and I decorate it however I want.  I make plenty of money and I was lucky to not have financial barriers to divorce.

I am taking at least a year to work on my mental and physical health. I'm not dating.  I need the time to myself before I am in any place to be a good partner to anyone else, but someday, if I am lucky, maybe I will have love and companionship again.[/quote]
