This policy will force women who were raped in the military to give birth to their rapists baby. There is no way around it. Around 25% of women who active duty service members are raped at some time during their service. There are military bases that are more than 1000 miles from the nearest abortion clinic because they are completely surrounded by abortion ban states. The military also is not allowed to give leave for women to obtain an abortion due to recent policy changes. The military controls theses women’s schedule and they have banned access to the procedure even if they are raped. So the answer is unequivocally yes that the military now has a policy of forcing women who were raped to give birth. [/quote]

You are playing semantics. That number is alarmingly high either way and the reality is that they are creating a situation where many women who are raped will be forced to give birth. [/quote]
