You hit the nail on the head. It's human nature to avoid admitting a wrong. People have worked hard to convince themselves Trump wasn't a mistake in 2016 to the extent they've voted against their interests by supporting him again in 2020 and 2024. To a much lesser degree of harm, there are still some Dems who refuse to admit Biden was a mistake in 2020. It's basic human nature.[/quote]
OP here.. I do agree that Dems who refuse to believe Biden was not all there and should've dropped earlier in the race are delulu.

But, this WVA case is different.  This is not just about who is in the WH, but the policies that Trump supports which are hurting people like them the most, per the article.  Yet, they still support him.  That's just cray cray.[/quote]
