Was the sport in season (eg hockey over winter break or baseball during spring break) and was this something you were aware of when your kid went out for the team? Obviously this is an additional expense—how does that work? The schools we are looking at for HS are those where DS anticipates being able to continue playing his primary sport and will also need to play at least one other to meet school requirements. Depending on where he lands he may or may not continue with his club team. Not sure private school tuition + the expense of trips to FL (or wherever) + club fees is an equation that makes sense for our family. [/quote]
