I actually moved, because landlord raised rent. Got top floor unit with no foot steps above.

My investment account gives me the warm fuzzy feeling house usually gives. Landlord asked me to stay for a long time as they don't even live in US. I know the building well as I owned here and now rent. 
More and more people are doing the math renting vs buying finally.
When we bought, we didn't do the math really and didn't even know stock market was an option. Times have changed.
Family still owns several properties here and abroad. Glad they didn't do their math either. Nobody is going to be homeless.[/quote]
