Teach your own kid a thing or two. Mine aces calculus AND can fix a rip in their clothes. It's not an either/or situation. You should want your kid to learn as much as they can...not just the bare minimum. You should also teach them how to cook and about personal finance. And they should know math and writing and grammar and science. Kids who lean in to their education with parental support are not dumber...my kid is smarter than I was at their age.[/quote]
