Deadline to accept an offer isn't until tomorrow night.  I'm not sure these players have received no's from other clubus yet, right?  Or are you assuming they are players who didn't receive yes's yet?  The makeup tryouts were 5:30-7:00 pm tonight.[/quote]

It is really strange to find no information about a tryout (when, where) on the club website. Not only there is no info, but there is no link: it is as if this tryout never happened. I wonder how much of this was the need for additional players compared to the opportunity to make $3200 in a couple of hours. [/quote]

What I heard through my kid was that it was an invitation secondary tryout for specific positions where they wanted to see more of certain players, so basically a call back interview for people that had received a maybe.  But I guess possible they also let in some people that had not yet tried out with them but had struck out with higher level teams.  [/quote]
