It’s: - school gets more apps than ever before by 11/1 deadline - school extends deadline - school gets even more apps than ever before - school announces biggest app year ever, making it more selective and harder to get into (which is then heavily advertised as such, reporting the massive number of apps and acceptance rate) This has been going on for a few years and 100% is NOT bc apps were down for the schools doing this.
