It's not clear that UNC went full, but it appears they are offering more than their competitors.  Virginia appears to be scrambling to fund some scholarships, and it's not clear if the old 12.6 are gone there.  No one really knows yet. [/quote]
UNC is nowhere near approaching full scholarships right now, that is clear.

Virginia is not scrambling, they are in the beginning of the biggest money raise they've ever had, and that's across the department.  None of their old 12.6 are gone, if someone is out there saying that, they are wrong. Whether they're able to get to additional ones in the future is up in the air, but they're probably surprised how quickly they've gotten dough in so far.[/quote]

Every one of those 27's were told they were tuition free. A number of other schools told our son he'd be tuition free or very close with scholarship, financial aid and grant packages all arranged by the school.
