I don't think that any school is "giving" NIL money to its players.  My understanding is that if an athlete plays at a school that opts into the new structure (i.e., the House settlement), then he/she is free to cut their own marketing deals.  If a local car dealership in State College PS is wants to pay a sophomore LSM for his endorsement, then good for them.   but unless your name is something like Kavanaugh or Big Tasty, I expect those deals will be hard to find for lacrosse players.
[/quote]You don't have to be at an opt in school to participate in NIL.  There are deals out there for lacrosse players.  Most probably are 4 figure types, an occasional 5.  Schools will also have plenty of ways to do it thru donors if they want to and have them at their disposal.

That said, PSU giving everyone full scholarships plus NIL is laugh out loud funny (and likely trolling).[/quote]
