Quite the opposite. It was a long time coming and very considered. For many years the pluses (great stroke technician, deep relationship with many swimmers and families) outweighed the minuses (immaturity, emotional instability, favoritism) but it reached a breaking point this summer. It’s better for everyone to get a fresh start - I know he will bring his A game to a new team.[/quote]
