Ken Balbuena is my neighbor. He's running as republican who is pro-immigration and social services at the local level and has no desire to get involved in culture wars. Fiscal responsibility is his number one priority. He's extremely moderate and has been super active in our community: https://www.kenforbraddock.com/
That's too bad. He seems like a decent guy. I went from a moderate who voted for people like John Kasich and even George W. Bush twice over his opponents (I now consider 2000 a mistake), but the last 10 years have made me never GOP. I simply don't trust Republicans and don't think I ever will again in my lifetime. If faced with the choice of kowtowing to Trump or doing right by his constituents, Republicans have demonstrated time and again they will kowtow to Trump. I realize the FFX Co. Board of Supervisors isn't highly visible to Trump - at least not at this time. But I am certainly not going to vote to put my locality at risk if Trump does decide to focus on it. PP, I hope you will share this with your neighbor. I wish him well personally. I wish him defeat in this election.
