You pick the categories (for both income and expenses), it's like the old paper registries but so much easier.  I start typing Verizon and up comes Fios and Wireless (used different ones at different times).  Or Geico and that it's an insurance payment for $221 comes up automatically.

You can also enter recurring payments (mortgage, life insurance, etc).

I use a way old version that was free, maybe still floating around.  But the newer versions have a monthly sibscription so you can sync it with bank and bills.  I do it manually and dont sync, and, I dont pay anything.

Paying my bills is about 30 minutes a week (on a weekend), except when Im entering a credit card payment, because I break down an $8k bill by categories (groceries, dining, charity, household, auto: fuel, auto: setvice  etc).  [/quote]
