CMC is going through a natural transition: Hiram has been at the helm for over a decade. Eventually you do leave, and he has a very strong record before CMC that he's building off of, while also basically building the entirety of modern CMC. The next president will do great.

Pomona has no interim currently. Gabi left for a year, because she was extremely unpopular for arresting students and causing distress. President Gaines had actually been an admin before and led the college well. Now Gabi is back after a research sabbatical, and is accelerating her campaign (with rumors she will eventually step down as professor of neuroscience and english).

Pitzer has not had an interim in a while and has held perfectly steady since Strom Thacker (PO '88) took over 2 years ago. Harvey Mudd actually had a president change just this last year.
