so I guess doing a kit would allow me to drop contact with BD1 with a clear conscience if we aren't actually related. there's a lot of early death in both families so I don't think there's much to choose from there. in theory 1st cousins in one of the families would show up.  bio mom would definitely be upset if she was wrong, but at least the people she wanted nothing to do with are now all dead.[/quote]
