Nazi's also faced PTSD and suicides too, so this should not be any surprise.

In fact, IDF soldiers have said they feel like they are Nazis when they enter Gaza

As long as they stay in Israel, cultural norms will largely prevent them from having to seriously face what they've done. Even people that know it is wrong also know they can't openly say that.

I think you'll see this generation of IDF soldiers remain in Israel and contribute to the militarization of Israeli society and the dehumanization of Palestinians as a sort of coping mechanism.[/quote]
