Recovery for a facelift and tummy tuck are not the same. After a tummy tuck it is quite some time before you can lift anything which can be difficult if you have small children (for example). You also should not get a tummy tuck until you have lost all the weight you plan to lose and maintain it for 6 months or a year.

OP here. That was not me you were responding to. I know tummy tuck has a much harder and longer recovery time, which is why I’m not actually considering it yet, though I do want one in the future. [/quote]
