These things were [b]way[/b] more expensive in another country I lived in (Switzerland) and stylists never charged $650 for highlights. I think this is greed at this point.

This area is very expensive for cosmetic procedures of all kinds. Hair cuts and color, plastic surgery, med spa type services. If you can swing just regular hair color/no highlights, it will bring down the cost a lot. My usual cut and color doubles in price if I add highlights. But I can get cut color and highlights where my family lives in Columbus, Ohio for just a little more than cut and color here. And it’s a nice salon and they do a great job. So maybe book a salon visit when you go visit family elsewhere![/quote]
