lol joint strike? Israel can not strike a wet paper bag without the US. The US could turn off access to guidance systems and Israel would be out of luck. Also Israel can not stop Iranians missiles. Only the US can to an extent. The US shot down all the stuff Iran sent last time and Israel did not contribute at all. If Iran what they did for 2 days we would not be able to stop it.

We have no treaty obligations with Israel. Israel could not put forces on the ground in Iran because Israel has no capabilities to do so. Iran would be difficult for the US to invade. We would have to send pretty much everything we had including reserves and national guard.

Iran is a huge - twice the population of Iraq and about 6 times more land. Iran is very mountainous with large urban area. Iranians would rally to fight the US and Israel. It would quickly become a drone war like what’s going on in Ukraine right now. Outside a few special forces unit no one in the US military is training against a Ukrainian- Russian level drone environment.

Hey Israel where have you been? We the US have been “striking” the whole region for over 30 years mainly for you. Would have been nice if you could have helped us out in Iraq, Afghanistan, battling Isis, the Ukraine, etc. You being at best a fair weather free rider…or as you say “ally”(lol).

So the answer is NO. Trump has said he will not go to war. Does Israel have any idea how unpopular they are with the general public in the US? The backlash would be crazy.

In the meantime Israel better start paying us back for all the aid we have given them. That over 300 billion. Pay us back.[/quote]
