[/quote] I might use the phrase dumpster fire, but: massive grade inflation, unenthused and sometimes unqualified teachers, at least one lockdown per year for the 4 years my senior was there, inadequate principal responses to not just security events but antisemitic incidents (including a BCC teacher!) would give me pause if I had a younger child. And we both value the public school/heterogenous environment at BCC and could afford private if we needed to. Would not send a child to BCC if I had other options at this point. Had an older kid who graduated some years ago & their experience was significantly better (quality of instruction) -- pandemic did not do good things for MCPS.[/quote]
