B-CC, on the other hand, has a well-organized, funded and active PTSA that makes noise and demands responsiveness from MCPS. The difference in responses to the two schools is a combination of different levels of socioeconomics and parental engagement. MCPS loves schools with defunct or highly compliant PTAs because they can get away with murder quietly.[/quote]
