The meat is certified as halal. Is that a problem for you? Do you have a problem with kosher restaurants?
Is the other way around, Muslim people can eat kosher
Kosher food is similarly supposed to be killed with a swift cut, overseen by a person of piety following religious ritual. It is not clear if this requires the person be Jewish though.

And? So?
It means non-Muslims are discriminated against. These meatpacking companies are refusing to hire non-Muslims for the cutting and the slaughter.
Can you provide a link about the discrimination?
The slaughter of the meat has to be done by a Muslim in order to be zabihah (referred to halal in this case). I have not heard of anything regarding banning non Muslims from other positions at the companies.
I am not Jewish, but I believe similarly in order to be kosher, the person doing the slaughter has to be Jewish.
