FOr us: Case was a bit more "nerdy/geeky". DD is engineering, but not a "nerd" at all (didn't do robotics or STEm focused ECs). Rochester has a much stronger non-STEM programs (and has for decades) so it brings a better balance of students, IMO. We visited twice, back to back for both schools. And the Nerdy/Geeky vibe was real. Also, my kid liked Rochester much better than Cleveland. Case campus is urban, right in middle of stuff. UR is very near things, but the campus is basically self contained by the river, hospital on one side and cemetery on the other. So it has more of a traditional campus feel. [/quote]
