This is literally the first time I have heard anyone talk about asylum seekers as "one big reason why the Democrats lost the election." I am talking about LEGAL ASYLUM SEEKERS. Donald Trump and MAGA are always talking about ILLEGAL immigration.

I am talking about people without a criminal record, who used the Customs and Border Patrol system legally to apply for asylum and were assigned an asylum hearing. Again legal asylum seekers.

How did the program work pre-Biden - did people apply for asylum at the border (en masse) the way they are now? The ones gaming the system from Biden's directives are ruining it for folks who genuinely have an asylum case. The same goes for the lawyers making a living helping illegal migrants game the system.[/quote]
