MAPHL used to be pretty good.  Plenty of Tier 1 kids could do nothing in MAPHL and many 16AA and 18AA kids couldn't make the top teams.  In 2020, SJC destroyed Loyola Chicago and St Joe's Prep in Purple Puck and Landon had a number of NCAA players on their team.  St Albans had a few D1 NCAA kids (as well as other Tier 1 kids) and missed the playoffs.  DeMatha had a number of great tough teams too.  Has really fallen off since the Tier 1 teams became hostile, which also coincides with Tier 1 becoming a joke around here.    [/quote]
