I’m seeing a dietician through VHCs obesity medicine program and she suggested premier protein, shamrock or core power.
They shill brands for a reason.
Ok, what do you suggest?
A good and ethical trainer, or someone knowledgeable about actual nutrition, not the old food pyramid or fad diet stuff, will teach a client what to look for and what to avoid, then the client will be knowledgeable enough to find what they are looking for, without recommending any brand names.
A “trainer” shouldn’t be trusted more than a registered dietitian.
Neither should be "trusted", always verify with multiple sources. Most dieticians are clueless overall about sports nutrition and still in boomer nutrition territory from the 1970s studies.
