I understand better than most how having "plans" eases the worry a bit, so I really do understand your post. The thing is, though, that having a baby and as that baby grows the unknowns and worries will be so numerous that no matter of planning will help you feel safe and secure. And in the meantime, you will miss the small joyful moments of your child's life. Please take it from one who wishes she had this advice: use your time now before the baby is born addressing your anxiety with a professional that specializes in such a major life transition as the one you are experiencing.
