I agree it seems risky, but PP who opted out: why did you make that decision?  Were the child's scores exceptional so that the HOPE was bound to be worse, did you have an issue with the teacher or AART and felt they would take it out on your kid?  Presumably, you didn't opt out of NNAT, CogAT, iReady?  There must be have been a reason you opted out of HOPE.   Just picking your brain...[/quote]
