Thanks for the responses. I really was asking b/c was wondering if was *supposed* to do be doing anything, and am very glad to know that the answer to that question is no.  We are in North Texas, and vball here is VERY competitive, and so wanted to do a reality check with the rest of the country. Position-Specific Averages:
Middle Blockers: 6'0" - 6'4"+ 
Outside Hitters: 5'11" - 6'2" 
Rightside Hitters: 5'11" - 6'2"+ 
Setters: 5'9" - 6'1"+ 
Libero/Defensive Specialist: 5'5" - 6'0" 
Division-Specific Averages:
Division 1: Average height of 6'0" 
Division 2: Average height of 5'10"
