More convenient and just as nice would be Lansdowne, Belmont Country Club, Ashburn Farm, Broadlands. Bonus is that the school boundaries are a lot more secure. They keep having to build more and more schools in the Aldie area and can’t keep up.

Much of that area of Willowsford is now sending elementary kids to one school for K-2nd and an adjacent school for 3rd-5th. And both are pretty much brand new schools. [/quote]

All of those you mentioned have much smaller lots. Ashburn Farm has an absolutely insane HOA. Drive through the road Mill Run ES is on in Broadlands and turn down some of the courts. They've shoved houses in the weirdest ways on top of one another. [/quote]

I live in Ashburn Farm and have almost 3/4 of an acre of land.  Most lots in my section of the neighborhood are around 1/3 to 1/2 an acre.  Since it’s an older neighborhood the lots tend to be much larger than the new builds.  And the HOA finally fired the crazy militant covenants inspector so things are back to being a normal HOA.
