How does that absolve customers, patients, and the public from the courtesy of expressing appreciation. If you have to be so churlish, think of it as appreciation that they took a necessary job with unpleasant requirements so that the rest of us would have those services when we need it. I for one am very grateful for everyone who takes these difficult and often thankless jobs. A heartfelt thank you.
