Everything is not about being “woke”. Buying a young woman who is cohabitating with your son knives and blenders and wine glasses is tone deaf at best. Let’s be real - there are people RIGHT NOW who think it’s the woman’s duty to cook, clean, entertain, and serve.

My point was for OP to buy this young woman something FOR HER. Not for her to cook with, entertain with, etc. Because more than likely, that’s what the person that suggested those items thought.[/quote]
