You need to read the other threads this is repeated over and over with other Arlington years and other clubs as well  If you want to play ecnl at Arlington and are on the White or Red your best bet is go to a different club and come back in a year or two.  They may pick 1 kid from those teams to move up.  The one thing you can guarantee is that they will take at least 1 kid from outside that isnt as good as one of the kids on red/white and the following year that kid will be gone or have moved down. Does this happen at the rising U13 Arlington team specifically or at Arlington generally?  I’d be interested in knowing whether girls from outside the club who join at the beginning of ECNL experience this. That would be a pretty bad reflection on Arlington’s ability to assess talent, or worse yet on Arlington’s ECNL standards. If someone new to the club were willing to accept a non-ECNL spot after a year on the ECNL team, then they’re clearly not ECNL-level talent or they’d go to another ECNL or even GA team before taking a second team spot, and you have to wonder why the club would have taken such a player in the first place.
