Vienna BYRC have almost no shot at Union. And Valor girls have almost no shot at NVA.
What are you talking about? There are plenty of Vienna girls on Union…
2013 mclean is stacked and likely best age group. This is followed by 2013 loudoun. Very low probability outside those two clubs. Another twist with loudoun is a rumor that TD has been recruiting girls outside loudoun.
That's correct, they got 2 GFR 2014G mid-season to play up with Loudoun 2013, with 15 kids on a 9v9 game, how fun!

You need to read the other threads this is repeated over and over with other Arlington years and other clubs as well If you want to play ecnl at Arlington and are on the White or Red your best bet is go to a different club and come back in a year or two. They may pick 1 kid from those teams to move up. The one thing you can guarantee is that they will take at least 1 kid from outside that isnt as good as one of the kids on red/white and the following year that kid will be gone or have moved down.

This thread is about 2013G. There may be plenty of Vienna girls on current Union teams, but it’s hard to imagine any will break into the 2013 squad given how dominant (locally) the 2013 McLean girls are. Unless of course politics force the Union U13 coach to take a player from the other feeder clubs.
The Vienna girls 2013 will do just fine and have plenty of slots on The Onion. The U13 coach is MV who is an embedded Vienna guy. You think he's just going to pass on all his Vienna players in favor of their hated rival McLean? Regardless of talent, Vienna will load up the Onion. That is why Onions tend to stink.
Never feared when my kid played a Vienna team. Ever. Their parents were usually silent but the second half, just waiting to go home.
