If people are learning it, it's through supplementing.[/quote] 2nd grade ends with arrays to show the foundations of multiplication and division. Like seeing that 12 dots are 3 groups of 4 (3*4=12) or 4 groups of 3 (4*3=12) at the same time. It also shows repeated addition to explain multiplication. Definitely not long division. [/quote]
