Nope. Not in MCPS itself. I ky if parents supplement.
No, *some* do learn in 2nd grade. Try to keep up.
It is not in the Eureka curriculum. And the "enrichment" is harder Eureka problems.
If people are learning it, it's through supplementing.
2nd grade ends with arrays to show the foundations of multiplication and division. Like seeing that 12 dots are 3 groups of 4 (3*4=12) or 4 groups of 3 (4*3=12) at the same time. It also shows repeated addition to explain multiplication. Definitely not long division.

Where were you? When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s in DCPS and also a DC area private school, and when I taught in the 90’s until common core the standard was to introduce multiplication and division in 3rd. This had been changed to the end of 2nd, since common core, but usually only very small numbers.
You know I've been the passenger on a lot of planes but I've never been a pilot. Being a student doesn't make you an expert on curriculum

To be clear, I said I taught from the 90's through the change to common core when multiplication and division started appearing in 2nd. I'm still teaching now.
