When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s in DCPS and also a DC area private school, and when I taught in the 90’s until common core the standard was to introduce multiplication and division in 3rd. This had been changed to the end of 2nd, since common core, but usually only very small numbers. [/quote] You know I've been the passenger on a lot of planes but I've never been a pilot.
