Sure you can buy the cheapest rock, but it's not going to sparkle and be actually beautiful if it isn't cut well. Most shapes don't have a certificate for cut, that's why you rely on the cutter. Unless you're sending the cheapie rock to be recut, in which case you'll lose some carat weight. Personally, I don't want the cheapest largest diamond that looks like a dud. If I'm wearing a diamond, it better be sparkling from across the room! [/quote]
