Just to make sure you can get a totally unethical lab diamond too. Do not send de Beers money.
De Beers has stop making diamonds for jewelry.

Anonymous wrote:never do big retailers for any kinds of diamonds. The mark up for natural could be close to 1000% and for lab diamonds, it could be 2-3000%.
Lab diamonds average wholesale rates come out to be about $200/carat, may be slightly higher if they are big in carat size such as 3-4 carats or higher. Natural diamond prices goes exponentially high and 2 carats, VVS1, round could go for $10K or higher
Never invest in lab diamonds and consider them slightly better than mosiannites stones. They don't hold any value because market is full of supply and only gullible people spend big $s on lab based diamonds.

Anonymous wrote:don't go for lab diamonds, that's stupid. It is for people who can't afford real diamonds. Businesses would push for it because they have the most margins.
Anonymous wrote:The problem is that you still want them cut well. The cut, more than the material, will determine how beautiful the stone is. The best cutters will always charge more. Depending on what cuts you like, I'd also check out Good Old Gold. A++++ cuts, but on the pricier side.

Another nonsensical response. Go to the cheapest source you can and make sure the diamond has a certificate. Not all shapes have a determination of the quality of the cut.
