Sounds like neither of you to the gym regularly. If you did, you would know that you see the same people over and over again and strike up basic banter.   It’s not different than any other public place people frequent regularly. If people don’t want to talk, then can easily avoid it with earbuds, looking the other way, etc.[/quote]
