I'm not in LC, but it's bizarre to me that you think the school calendar should be based on accommodating families' travel plans.  Are all LCPS air conditioned?[/quote]

If you lived or spent enough time in LC you’d understand this and why. LC loves to accommodate everyone and everything. Creating a mediocre education at best!
