I can't think of any place in the D.C. metro area that would be considered far from a hospital. Never considered this when searching for a home. The desire to live so close to a hospital assumes you will be home when you have a medical emergency. Now if one of my children had some type of serious chronic condition and needs prompt medical care, then of course, living close to a hospital matters. But really, my goodness![/quote]
