[/quote] WTH does my name (not bertha, i can assure you) have to do with what i think of the name evelyn? Also, your post was not at all clear that you already had a daugther named evelyn ("if you were to name your child", not "my daughter's name is"). In that case, I like Evy for a short version. With a name like that (Evy, Evie) you will inevitably run into people who will mispronounce when they only see it written. Such is life.[/quote]
